Training 1: Know Your Rights in 2026: Rights, Remedies, Resources & Risks

Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM PT (2 hrs)

This training reimagines traditional Know Your Rights presentations for the current enforcement landscape. Moving beyond basic rights education, this training equips practitioners with practical strategies to respond when rights are violated, concrete resources, and honest risk assessment. Designed for community-based organizations, advocates, and legal practitioners, the training centers community protection, preparing participants to support individuals and families facing heightened immigration enforcement with clarity, strategy, and care.

Topics covered include:

  • Know Your Rights in the Current Enforcement Climate: What rights still exist, how they are commonly violated, and how enforcement tactics have shifted.

  • Know Your Remedies: What Can Actually Be Done: Legal, administrative, and advocacy-based responses around legal relief options.

  • Know Your Resources: Where to Access Legal Help & Resources: Identifying trusted legal and community organizations and resources.
